Some relief

by Brian Zinger on June 24, 2012

The brutal heat of last week has finally broke.  However, precipitation did not accompany the break,  so most trout waters are still to hot.  Relief is in site, as air temps will remain cool and better chance for rain most of the upcoming week.    That heat last week even slowed the bass and pike action. I have been tying a bunch of Hexagenia parachutes, emergers and stillborns in an attempt to hit that hatch towards the end of the week .
