Hare’s ear of a different color

by Brian Zinger on February 13, 2018

Tying a Hare’s ear is a standard way of tying nymphs; Tail 1st, then tapered and ribbed abdomen, bulky thorax, legs and a wing case. If you change materials or colors you produce a nymph that can imitate a specific insect.

Here I changed everything that I use to tie a traditional Hare’s ear, to produce my fav pattern for March Brown nymphs.
